I'm taking a ferry this afternoon, can I take liquids with me or do they have the same security restrictions as airplanes?

That's it, basically.

Goinf to Belgium this afternoon with a very allergic DS, so... need to know if I would manage to take his free from milk little cartons or should I leave them at the car.

(Ferry company website has no information whatsoever and... unfortunately, the only real persons I can talk to don't seem to understand variations in ENglish accents (possible due to be immigrants as myself )

I know that the homeoffice should have somewhere information on this restrictions but I can't find it. So, if you know where that is, please let me know

TIA

You can take them, ferries don't have security checks like at airports, as long as you wave something that look vaguely like a passport at them they let you on.

Thank you, have just managed to speak to someone, will take GP note with me. (sadly, doesn't mention anything about the amount of liquid foods that I have to take).

You'll be fine. We travel regularly from the UK home to France, and often board the ferry with carrier bags full of food (to eat on board) I don't think it will be any different travelling to Belgium..

Thank you

Off i go...
