Hi,

We're looking at booking a trip to Disneyland Paris.

What are people's thoughts on the length of your stay?

Is it better to stay in one on the hotels on the park?

For a first time stay I’d do at least 3 nights / 4 days . We always stay at a Disney hotel although did do Davy Crockett ranch when the kids were small as you then get the magic hour if you want to use it . Personally I just like the convenience . We also always drive as I find it a lot less hassle than the train or flying .

3 nights/4 days is a great length of time for a first visit. Staying on site gets you the big benefit of an extra hour in the parks in the morning and you can walk back to your hotel if you don't want to take the buses.

Went for the 1st time last August. Did 3 days/2 nights staying at Newport Bay. We definitely got the use of magic hour and we always walked to and from the parks.

We’re going for the first time at Easter - staying in the Disneyland hotel. Any tips welcome!

Check whether any of you qualify for an access pass it will likely be really busy and the queues can be long . If you haven’t done so already book any restaurants you want , or see if you can as they get booked up early .

For a first time i would recommend the 3 night stay with one of the Disney hotels and if possible travel to France the night before and stay in the Disney b&b hotel so you can get to the parks early and make the most of that first day and check in to the Disney hotel later.

We've stayed at Cheyenne, sequoia and Newport and honestly they're all much of a muchness. A clean room/bed and bathroom. You don't need more than that as you'll be in the parks all day.

Depending on when you go, you will not get time to see and do it all.
Use the app when there to make the most of queue times.
Take snacks and refillable water bottles to the parks to reduce cost on food. It is expensive.

3 nights at least….not worth it otherwise…staying in a Disney hotel on site or also one of the hotels nearby with the free transport bus…..eg explorers hotel

We went for 3 nights, 4 days our for our first holiday. Staying on site was well worth it and we made the most of extra magic hour every morning.
