New York hotel

Thinking of going to New York later in the year with husband and 2 teens
can anyone recommend a hotel to stay so many on trip advisor my head is spinning

@IggyAce And breakfast at $27 per person. Lots of reviewers find standard rooms small. Showers ditto. It’s 7.9 on Booking.com. Good location for sightseeing though.

I also find comments about NY hotels odd when people complain about noisy streets. It’s NY! Aldo the Doubeltree is budget yet people say it’s poor value for money! Not entirely sure what people expect!

The Ludlow is excellent and walkable to lots on the Lower East Side. The Ludlow Double is huge - The Ludlow — Hotel Rooms (ludlowhotel.com) and there are coffee shops and diners, including Katz Deli (from When Harry met Sally) on the corner.

What's your budget? The ritz is really good. Waldorf is another good one but I think it's currently closed for renovations.
