And where and when do you go to find it, please?

@Lilacshade We stayed in the hotel Eden Mar - it shares its grounds with the Porto Mare hotel and Residences apartments. We were B&B but they do half board as well. We loved the complex - beautiful gardens, probably the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had on holiday and the main pool was lovely and warm. It’s a big hotel but never felt overly busy and could always get a sun bed. It is right next to the sea front with restaurants and walks and there is a small supermarket underneath. If you’re thinking to rent a car for a few days, MadPoint car rental is also right next door and were great.
So, yeah - highly recommend!

Biarritz is cooler as on the Atlantic coast.

I'm ginger and find anything over 25 difficult. I have to sit in the shade....

Tend not to do pool holidays. We were in mallorca in September last year and it was 40 and far too hot for me.

We basically don't go away in the summer.

@squareofthehypotepotenuse Thank you, that does look good.

Went to Rhodes once late August it was 41 , that was a bit too hot for me, although it was breezy.
I like islands and coastal and not too much humidity, late twenties early thirties for temp. Greek islands July or September, Mexico Feb/march, Lakeside Garda June maybe July, Portugal early September etc

22.5 - 23.25. Very gentle breeze.

The Azores is not too hot in August - average 25c. Though the weather can be changeable, even on the same day. They have amazing natural hot springs that are great even if it rains!
