Copenhagen in Feb

I know it will be cold but is it the kind of place you could enjoy for a couple of days on your own? My friend was meant to be going but now can't!

Also does anyone know just how pricey it is? Would I be best grabbing an overpriced bottle of wine in the airport in the hope that it's less overpriced than Denmark?!!

Any hints and tips very much appreciated.

It's very expensive here. It will probably be miserable in February. Better to come late spring/early summer.

Thank you for your honesty. Back to the drawing board!

It's pricey. I have a day in Copenhagen by myself later this year as I've had to change flights (meeting a friend there).

I went in December a couple of years back and loved it. Though I love cold places generally.

It's definitely a city I feel fine going to buy myself. I just understand that alcohol is astronomic and make my peace with that.

The food is good generally - possibly because if you are paying that much you want it to be decent.

I'd just do it (I pretty much literally am!)

We've been in Dec and July. Loved it both times. It is expensive but then so is Dublin / London / Paris etc.

Just go. Wander. Envy the effortlessly cool people lol

You can definitely go alone. I’m often there alone as travelling for work and have had no issues. Would love have a few more days alone there: visit a couple of museums (weather doesn’t matter), tour of harbour in a nettobåden if there’s a non rainy day, sit in a cafe and read a book. You’re making me want to book a solo holiday there now 😅.

As for wine: depends what you consider expensive 😅. I live in another part of Denmark but expect you can get bottles of wine under 5gbp there as well in a supermarket
