Holiday inspo for October?

We are looking to book a holiday for October. Me and DH and our DD will be 6 and our forthcoming baby who will be 6 months ish. We are relatively adventurous (we backpacked colombia when DD 1 was 6 months old). We probably want the moon on a stick: a beautiful landscape, easy to get around, a mix of exploring beautiful landscapes - maybe some days in a city, some in a more rural setting and then some days on a beach. Nice hotel (I'm too old to not have hot water) and able to relax with a cocktail. We would got for about 2 weeks.

Any ideas?

I looked at madagascar but worry that it's hard to get around and there's violent crime? San blas or corn Islands but October looks like rainy/hurricane season? Zanzibar or is it full of package holidays? Seychelles or Maldives or are those for honeymooners in luxury resorts?

Any tips would be most appreciated :)

Turkey - fly to Antalya for some time exploring the Turquoise coast, there's some unspoilt beautiful spots around Cirali and Kekova island. Hire a car, it's an easy drive.

Fly internally from Antalya to Cappadocia, amazing cave hotels and churches, hot air balloons trips, landscape is incredible.

Then fly to Istanbul for your final few days.

You get a lot for your money in Turkey, not long haul, food is excellent and hospitality is fantastic.

We went to Madagascar the year before covid with MadaRako tours. Our guide Oliver was great. They helped us plan the whole trip which was amazing although sometimes quite challenging. I'd not spend much time in Antananarivo (Tana)and deffo use internal flights as the distances are long and most roads pretty awful. The wildlife. Scenery. People. Trip of a lifetime but it's sobering just how impoverished most people are. There's huge power outages all over for example so in the evenings most hotels rely on batteries or small generators. It's also very expensive as alcohol and most food is imported for western tourists.

Tana is a big city and very poor so you can't really venture out without security. But it's not a place to stay anyway. We felt safe everywhere else although we had a guide and driver the whole trip

There's a good choice though of accommodation main,y for French tourists.

I'd say give yourself time to rest. There's beautiful beach hotels. And don't be too ambitious. Also I'm pretty hardy but I had the worst gastric trauma one evening. It passed quickly but I was miserable. Happy to give details of the your etc.
