A place in Worcester for end of July with a wet room

You all sound to be investigating such interesting holidays, but I just want to take my 90 year old mum to Worcester for the Three Choirs Festival.

Whilst she can manage a few steps with a handrail, she had a really nasty fall last Summer in a shower with too high a lip in a hotel, it's taken ages for the resultant injuries to heal, so without her glasses on, in the steam etc, she needs a really safe shower - a wet room or a low lip and plenty of handholds and preferably a seat.

This seems to be an impossible thing to search on, on air B&B or booking.com or anywhere else. I don't care if it's a hotel or an apartment or what... but can any of you suggest how to find a suitable place?

Look for accessible apartments or hotel rooms. Most larger hotels have a number of fully accessible rooms for people with reduced mobility or disabilities and they have step free access, wet rooms, etc.

Yes, surely just search for accessible accommodation? Really not difficult!

You need to search "accessible" then read the descriptions. But I've stayed at Ye Olde Talbot which is opposite the cathedral and has accessible showers. But July may be very bored up already.

You could also try cottages.com which can be searched via access. If you Google Dogs Trust cottages you can access via a link that donates 10% of your rent to the charity.

Thanks everyone, I have been searching using 'accessible', but the detail is very sketchy. I'll have a look at the specific suggestions that everyone has made
