I wonder if anyone can advise on this question.... DH and I want to book a easyjet holiday to the canaries for next December but not sure at this point if our two sons will want to come with us (18 and 20). We would like to give them the option, so happy to pay a deposit for us all, but if we then pay the balance just for two of us nearer the time, is it a case of the holiday is locked in but we just lose the deposit for the two that don't travel?

Sorry if this is garbled, appreciate any insights.

TIA

I would phone the company you're booking the holiday with and ask them for advice. I think it probably depends on what accommodation you're selecting.

why not make two separate bookings, yourself and your husband on one and your sons on the other. Then if they decide they don’t want to come then you’d just lose the deposit on theirs and wouldn’t have to faff about amending the booking and having to pay a fee to do so.
But yes I’d probably speak to easyJet.
