Hi,
We have been twice in 2 years, love it, booked it all independently. Flights are you fisrt port of call, we flew Virgin, couldnt fault them, booked through Charter Travel in Surrey, they seem to get very good rates and can book the flights very early for you. We have stayed in villas. love the space and freedom, paid an average of £500 a week for 4 beds with large pool and hot tub. All villas are appprox 15 mins easy drive to Disney, stay anywhere off the 192 and youll be fine. Park tickets do not seem to vary in price much, but always better to get them before you go. Car hire, booked again thru Charter Travel, they book it and the flight separately for you and it works out cheaper. Hope that helps!

We've always found booking flights direct (with BA or Virgin) by phone works out best.

Also with the exchange rate as it is it worked out cheaper to buy park tickets at the gate than via a UK Agent.

If you have a villa you'll need a car. A lot of the motels on I-Drive do a free shuttle bus to either Disney or Universal and some do both.

I used Vacations to go to book my trip. Its an American company but form the uk its freephone to call.

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge at Disney which was lovely it felt like I was in the Canadian Mountains yet only few km from Magic kingdom.

Look at mousesavers.com for research. I discoverd special offers such as free upgrade theme park tickets and the dining plan that I was able to ensure I received.

Disney will also give you free transport from the airport and back and around Disney world if you are staying at one of their properties. Although you would need a car if you going to see other parts of Florida.

For Flights I always compare prices through 'Kayak' and then book direct with the preferred airline.
