I've just booked a few days at Disneyland Paris next spring for my 4yo and 5yo! I've never been before but they are going to be so excited, what are the must do or must see activities? I need all the tips!

As you’re going for a few days, you’ll have enough time for all of the rides and shows that a 4 and 5yo can do, so I’d just work your way through them and enjoy! Where are you staying? Have you got a meal plan?

I think you need to plan your visit. If you just turn up and hope for the best it could be a miserable experience. I remember a poster on here who had a miserable time a few years ago because she simply turned up. I’d take a look at DLP tips for Brits on Facebook. You’ll get a lot of information on there.

are you on site or off site? When are you going. Does it clash with French or German school holidays. Do you have a meal plan?

There is a Facebook group called "Disneyland Paris tips for brits" which is really helpful.
Are you staying in a Disney hotel? If you are then make the most of the "magic hour" where you get access an hour earlier- we got so many rides done in that time with minimal queueing.

I'd join the disneyland paris advice Facebook page as I found it the more useful of the two. My advice is that if you are staying at a disney hotel make the use of EMH which is an hour you get to enter the park before general entry. You can get so much so much done during that time. I'd get restaurant reservations booked now and use the app to look at menus and then YouTube vlogs to see how extensive buffets for example actually are. Download the app and familiarise yourself with it. It isn't just rides and character meets but shows, parades, fireworks, illuminations. I'd consider whether you want to book breakfast or dinner with characters or whether you'd like to do the princess lunch.

I'd go with some sort of plan. We went this October with 3 kids aged 7, 6 and 2. I had a rough plan each day of the rides we wanted to cover and we often did them all and more, I was flexible and made sure we had sit down lunches and plenty of breaks for ice cream and nappy changes to give my other two a rest. Basically go at your kids pace but don't go in blind as you'll miss so much.

I went with my husband back in 2017 and we are going again with our son next spring as well for 4 nights. We tend to do 2 days in the Disney parks and then 2 days in Paris and we just get the train.
