Hi

Been over 10 years since our last trip. Have done loads or research and would like tips to keep food costs down and any general top tips.

We know it's gonna be expensive!

Booked in pop century week one for Disney, cabana bay universal week 2. No car as staying on site. Are there any nearby supermarkets?

Have 14 day park tix for both, and have park reservations for Disney parks. Dining reservations: Sanaa Ak dinner day 1, Star Wars bar HS day 7. No more pre booking yet.

Been looking at dining reservations at Disney springs but a tad overwhelmed.

Do I need to pre book more dinners? Done nothing for universal.

Advice needed!

For keeping food costs down, use the food trucks in Disney Springs www.disneyworld.co.uk/dining/disney-springs/food-trucks/

Over the years we’ve found some meals that aren’t too pricey and are easily big enough to share between two people:
The Trio Platter at Colombia House Harbour
The foot-long hot dog at Casey’s
The cheese pizza at Catalina Eddie’s
Flame Tree bbq ribs and chicken combo
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments serves up some HUGE “snacks” that are big enough to be an entire meal. We cut the waffle sandwiches in half and share.

Another hack that we use all the time is to order a kid’s meal, even for adults. My favourite is the kids meals at Regal Eagle.
