My son broke his thumb yesterday and has his hand in plaster.
The doctor said he will be fine to return to school and he has okay'd it to fly to DLP next week but certain airlines won't allow it.We are flying with Easyjet, has anyone had a similar experience and any problems?

TIA

I've flown with a leg in plaster but not with Easyjet. You could ring and ask. Can you get a letter from the dr so if you need it then its there?

I reckon if he kept his hand out of sight/inside his sleeve/in a pocket at the check in desk they'd never notice. Once you're through check in you're fine, the security people won't be interested in something like that.

Thanks,I did ring the airline who said he would be fine to fly 48 hours after the cast was put on(it will be a week so fine there)but when I checked the website it stated that they would need a doctors letter,so going to get that sorted aswell,as you say better to have one anyway.
