Efteling in Feb

Hi all. Would anyone recommend going to Efteling in Feb half term or would it just be too cold? There’s an offer on bookings between Oct-Mar so am thinking about it! One of the hotels I looked at had an indoor pool as well so that would be good if needing to warm up / get out of rain!
Any thoughts welcome (also how long to go for?) - thank you

We’ve been in December and one very rainy, cold Easter and both trips were amazing. The real positive is much shorter queues than the summer months.

Thanks! Lower queues does sound appealing!!

It’ll be fine!

Half term here is from the 10th - 25th of February (it’s staggered) so it will be a bit busier then, particularly in the second week. The first week is just for the south of the country, they celebrate carnival down there then. If you happen to be in the country at the time, the carnival parade in s’ Hertogenbosch is well worth a look, is about 30 minutes from the Efteling

It can be very cold, grey and rainy, just like the UK. And though it will be less busy than the summer months, Dutch and Belgian schools also have a February half-term holiday.

thank you. Our half term is the first week mentioned so should be a bit calmer but suggests maybe would be better earlier in the week rather than later ie maybe not over the weekend of 17/18?

Carnaval is 10th - 13th of feb. The following weekend is likely to be busy - whole country on holiday and carnaval finished

We went over Feb half term this year, before the schools there were on holiday so it was quiet. Many rides you could just stay on because there were no queues to enter them. We stayed in the woodland complex about a 10 minute walk from the park which had a pool open in the evening - it wasn’t huge but it has a side with rapids which was fun. The restaurant was opposite so we would swim and then eat. It was pretty grey and a bit damp but didn’t matter. Lots of the rides were inside. I would recommend no more than 3 nights, but it was a lot of fun.
