Things to do- water park/bowling etc

Look at Tui

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 28/08/2023 08:48

Go on a royal carribean cruise. One of the massive newer ships. Great for teens.

DinnaeFashYersel · 28/08/2023 08:51

Riu hotels marketed by TUI are lovely

mylittleprince · 28/08/2023 08:51

Will be following this thread with interest as looking to book something similar. I saw on another thread some adult only AI hotels are 16+ which interests me but then not sure that they would have a waterpark!

The older teens have done this and wasn't too keen plus definitely no golf

I'm looking at this too OP DD15 and DSD18 Ikos was recommended but eye watering prices.

I'm considering Mark Warner and Club Med too.

Floofydawg · 28/08/2023 11:12

Barut hotels in Turkey. The Lara beach one has a big waterpark.

Remmy123 · 28/08/2023 11:27

Neil son or Mark Warner's are recommended when I have searched for recommendations or club med?!

mylittleprince · 28/08/2023 11:55

@Baxdream what did they not like about the cruise? I have been looking at these, we've not done a cruise before and I often see them recommended on here.

Greenhamcommon · 28/08/2023 12:01

Gloria hotels in Turkey ( belek ) have all you are requesting and are very good quality , you will need to check prices though

Fivemoreminutes1 · 28/08/2023 12:33

Titanic Golf Delux in Belek

Just found it a bit weird being isolated out at sea. I know lots love them though!

Friends have been to Liberty Lykia in Turkey with similar age kids and said it’s amazing. No bowling I don’t think but there is golf and a water park and other sports.

BG2015 · 28/08/2023 14:32

Mexico

Riu Tequila - great hotel. No water slides but hotel backs onto a golf course.

Great daytime activities and evening entertainment

Silkiebunny · 28/08/2023 20:11

We are doing a multi centre with TUI in Mauritius at Long Beach and Sugar Beach and there is golf at both, a la carte restaurants, possible to do AI, we are, no waterpark but loads of watersports included glass bottom boat, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking, as well as swimming and activity programme. Things like scuba diving, speedboat with tubing, para sailing, banana boat, pedalos available for extra. Would highly recommend both and the island.

Not sure if you could get 5 people in 3 bedrooms for that price though could see, think flights are around 1k each direct. The room at Long Beach had 2 beds and a sofa and an outside sofa and big bathroom. One at Sugar Beach is 2 singles with balcony.

Mumski45 · 28/08/2023 21:33

We have been to Liberty Lykia in Turkey many many times. We love it for all ages. Boys are now 15 and 17 and want to back next year after exams.

DD and her DH have also been more than once as a young couple but tend to go a different times as they aren't restricted to expensive school hols.

2nd this:

we are just back with 4 teens, they had a ball: swim up room in the lagoon area for you if you can stretch

aperolspritzbasicbitch · 28/08/2023 21:45

Previous posters have said Liberty Lykia in Turkey but they no longer have golf, and I'd say the water park won't be entertaining enough for teens.
All rooms are being redone at the end of season too, and prices are set to shoot up for next year.

aperolspritzbasicbitch · 28/08/2023 21:49

Sorry, mistake - there is a mini golf course, but it's in desperate need of some attention, and not work the €7 pp charge

We went to Mauritius last year. We'd go back to the awali but out of budget and the flight is long!

We’ve done three Ikos hotels and I don’t think you’d get 3 rooms plus flights for 10 days for much less than £30k, sorry.
