Bluestone

Looking to book Bluestone for next year, does anyone have any advice on which accommodation to choose?

We have two young kids who will want to ride their bike /scoot up and down so ideally want a location where they can do this outside the lodge. We'd like an area we can sit outside if the weather permits. Other than that we're not fusy. I've looked at the 2 bed cottages, the Caldey and Ramsay lodges but they all look very similar and it's hard to work out which locations are best (I'll pay the extra to choose location). Thanks in advance.

When my kids were little, we stayed in the cottages. They are all centrally located which was great. It was also nice that they had an upstairs. One time we stayed in a Caldey (I think). It was a nightmare getting the kids to sleep as their bedroom was directly off the living area. They could hear us talking and watching the telly and wanted to join in the fun!

And yes, there is space to scoot about outside the cottages.

The cottages are in the village so very handy for the shop, restaurant, playground etc. but little outside space. The lodges have loads of space plus outside seating area etc. as previously P said, caldey is all in one level. Plus windows in bedrooms are full-size doors so you can't have the window/door open at night without thinking a badger will come in!! Ramsey has upstairs but may be upside down living, I'm not sure. Check out the descriptions.
Bluestone is fab and we go twice a year with our 3 & 5 year olds, they love it. Have fun!

We stayed in the upside down one, it was really nice. Next time would get a golf buggy though as there was lots of walking up hill.

Thanks everyone. I'm still undecided but it's helpful to hear your experiences! I'm also undecided about the buggy....erring on getting one but I'm worried the kids will then refuse to walk / cycle anywhere 🤣, that's not one anyone else can advise on though.
