Aiming to go to Morocco in October
It will probably be x 4 nights (Thursday - Monday)
But don't want it to be sitting by a pool for 4 days - much rather out and about (but no car)
So where should we stay?
It will be 3 adults - me / elderly DM and a teen (18)
Budget: would not really want to spend more than £800 pp

Any advice welcome!

I would probably stick to one city with that time - Marrakesh would be my recommendation and I would stay in a riad for the full experience if the budget will stretch to it.

Will you be an all-female group?

Marrakesh, and stay as close to the city centre as you can afford. Some places are listed as Marrakesh but will be on the outskirts. I'e not been but I've looked into it.

It’s not a huge issue, just something to be aware of - there can be a lot of cat calling, especially to young women. I have been with a group of work colleagues, all women, and with my DH and the difference in treatment was noticeable. I never felt in danger but it was intense cat calling at times.

Staying in a good riad / hotel makes a big difference, as they’ll be able to give you good advice about where to go / what to do. Hiring a local guide for sightseeing can also be helpful, and a good riad will be able to do this for you. I can recommend Riad Joya, Riad Kniza and Riad Ennafoura.
