Has anyone done it? Or with kids of a similar age?

We're looking to go when we have a just turned 1 year old and a 3.5 year old

We last went when our first child was 2 and he loved it and was amazing on the plane so I'm not too worried about him

Juggling two kids tho, who knows

Any advice or tips?

The holiday itself is not the problem, the journey however....But 1yr olds are usually no bother; It's 3.5 yr old I'd be worried about, they get bored easily (if he's anything like mine).

We fly long-hauls at-least once a year and I always look for overnight flights if possible. My son sleeps throughout the entire flight and wake up when we land. Find lots of things to keep them occupied on the plane. It will be fine.

@Taketurn thank you
I'm actually not so worried about the 3.5 year old. We did Florida with him last sept which was his first ever flight and he was amazing
I took plenty for him to do and I know he'd have a nap too which kills a couple of hours
I'm actually more worried about being on a plane for 10 hours with a just turned 1 year old! She's not the cuddliest of babies either so she's my main concern!

We just love Florida and want to be able to go out of school time before our eldest starts school in the sept

I would wait till they are 5 and 3 personally. Thr 1 year old won't remember it and they won't get as much long term enjoyment out of it. Go when they can make amazing memories and remember it well.

It's a no for me. I've just been and the amount of babies in buggies baffled me! You can't go on a lot of the rides and I'd just find it a big faff but of course it's up to you!

I should probably add, when we went last year I was pregnant so I missed out on SO much and I'm desperate to do it

My in laws would be coming too and happy to have kids for a couple of days as they aren't so fussed on the parks etc

I know the 1 year old won't remember and that's fine, but I don't really have to pay for her at this point 😂

We fully intend to go again when they're older, and they both remember it but for now, we want to do it before our 3 year old starts school

It may also be the last time my in-laws want to go as they're both in their 60s so trying to make the most of it
