Eurocamp tips

I'm off to La Croix du Vieux Pont eurocamp this weekend. And wondered if anyone who'd previously been had any tips
My son is a very fussy eater, so I'm planning on packing lots.of snacks, and I believe there is a bakery on site.
Is there anything you'd recommend taking? Or anything I should prep beforehand?
Thanks in advance

I worked there as a courier nearly 20 years ago. Happy memories - do go and eat at Chez Mitch the little restaurant just down the road. There is a supermarket only about 10 mins away.
Train journey to Paris is always obviously required as is day trip to Rennes for champagne.
There are lots of other threads if you search what to take to eurocamp holiday and they will tell you all the bits it's helpful to take! 😁

Ice cube tray
Shopping bags if you’re going to do a food shop
Bin liners
Extension lead - they have limited lug sockets and saves you getting multiple European adapters
Food containers containers and sandwich bags for packed lunches and leftovers
A small bottle of washing liquid
Pegs and a travel washing line (especially useful for swimming stuff)
A few washing machine tablets/pods
An extra tea towel
Board games and card games
Research your nearest supermarket and how to get there. Don’t forget to take bags to the supermarket. Some continental supermarkets don’t offer any bags at all.

Tea towels
Washing up liquid/sponge etc
Toilet paper
Sharp knife
Bin bags
Think about bedding - if you're not hiring it, sleeping bags for the children are a good idea.
If you need extra glasses/plates, just ask. They'll probably give you a couple extra from the store tent.
We always went off site to the supermarket for food. The on-site shop will probably be small but will have basics like pasta and sauce, bread, cereal, milk.

As someone who worked as a courier on a eurocamp site 10 years ago, wash the crockery/pans before use.

The kitchen equipment can be hit or miss, we had to buy a couple of sharp knives and a baking tray for the oven as there wasn’t one.
We also bought some big mugs when we were over there as the cups in the kitchen were quite small and we wanted a decent sized brew.

Stuff like kitchen roll, washing up liquid we just buy over there.

The sites often have a swap shelf in the eurocamp office, check that before going to the shops (not after like I did) for things like washing up liquid, cooking oil, salt and pepper that people helpfully leave behind for others to use!

Swimming pools in France don't generally allow baggy shorts, boys and men often required to wear lycra!

We stayed for 3 nights on the way to our main holiday park destination last year. It’s a big site so a bike or scooter for your son would be helpful. The on-site bakery is amazing but be prepared for queues in the morning.

We had an amazing day at Parc Asterix. Queues weren’t that bad for August. The other day we wandered around the local area and site. Loads to do but the cost could creep up fast. There’s a supermarket close by and some smaller shops in the village.
