Has anyone get the new Joolz aer+? Im deciding between the bugaboo butterfly and the Joolz. If anyone has either I would love your opinions!

ALSO any travel tips with a 6 months old would be much appreciated! Thank you

I don't have the new Aer but I have the original and it's great. We've replaced the bigger pram (Bugaboo Lynx) entirely with it. It truly is a one handed fold, which o didn't find was the case for other travel prams marketed that way.

The only negative is that it doesn't recline properly. There's a panel built in the back which drops down when you unzip it. My LO has never tolerated it.

We tried the Silver Cross equivalent and the Bugaboo Butterfly in store. From what I remember, the Silver Cross was slightly complicated to fold and the Butterfly wasn't as easy to carry when folded (can't remember if it was heavier or bulkier)

I have the aer+ and I can't rate it enough. I absolutely love it and my husband does too. We use it day to day, it's just all round great.

The aer+ has 2 recline positions, one fully flat and another half reclined, it's enough for us.

It's a brilliant buggy I don't think you'd regret it.

The butterfly was an option, looked great but saw reviews that the seat material snagged and looked old/ruined after just a couple of uses and the frame was easily scratched.

I've got the original Aer not Aer+ and it's brilliant. I took my 10 month old solo on a flight and it's truly one handed fold. I was able to hold him and fold the pram by myself.

Thank you so much for your help! I think my husband and I are sold on the Joolz Aer+ it's just SO expensive! 😅 Sounds like it will be worth it. Anything to help when travelling with a baby! Wish me luck 🙏🏼

I have the butterfly and love it but the frame has scratched and the material snagged so those reviews are correct. But size wise, look/shape, ability to fold.

I am looking at getting a 2nd travel one for a second child and struggling to decide between another butterfly and the Joolz aer as I do think it looks great.

I have the original joolz aer and absolutely love it! It folds so easily and it takes up so little space! The recline is enough for our baby, he was 9 months when we started using it so didn't need it to lie flat. Very roomy seat and better basket than most. Extremely light and easy to steer. Slightly annoyed that I had to buy the footrest separately but liked that it still folds with the footrest in position

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 28/07/2023 12:38

Have you used it with either the bassinet or the buggy board?

does it still good small with the bassinet or is that not worth it?

is it easy to push with the buggy board?

cillacilla · 28/07/2023 12:44

I have a newborn and have the joolz aer plus as my only pram at the moment with the bassinet. With the bassinet on it is quite big lengthways when folded. I also have the car seat attachments and use that occasionally but I find they don't feel that secure. I've done two flights with it and we had to gate check it but it came back fine and very easy just to pop it open and off you go once off the plane. It's quite lightweight compared to other prams which is a big plus for me but I find the basket underneath is very small.

LoisHartt · 28/07/2023 16:06

I haven't tried the bassinet yet as I won't be needing it for my son. I've seen some videos online and it looks great! I agree, the footrest seems better on the bugaboo.. but I think overall the changes from aer to aer plus make it a winner for me 🥰🙏🏼

Hello- I have an old iCandy Peach (4th hand!) that I’m wanting to replace.

Really interested in the Joolz Aer+. It has great reviews as a travel stroller, but does anyone have any thoughts on using it as the MAIN pram from birth (using their carrycot).

Is it comfy, durable and reliable enough as a full time main pram?
Thanks!

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 12/03/2024 14:51

Probably depends on what sort of roads you will be going on. Think it would be fine if just on well paved paths and pavements but if more rugged paths (gravel/mud etc) you will probably want something with bigger wheels

Macchelle11 · 06/02/2025 21:16

Does anyone know if its beach walk friendly and moves along sand easily??

TheSnailAndTheWaaaail · 09/02/2025 21:56

It's not good on sand, no. Small narrow wheels.
