Brittany ferries - cabin

I'm travelling at 7.5 months pregnant on Brittany ferries, getting the 8.15am so arriving early afternoon. Also have 2yo DS but lots of extended family to help out.

Is it worth getting a cabin in the daytime? Or reserving seats? Or is it easy to find somewhere to sit and relax.

Many thanks.

I’d get a cabin - gives you space . The ferry will be busy

I'd get a cabin. It means you have somewhere to dump your stuff. Can have a picnic in your room, have a lie down or just some quiet time. Plus your own toilet.

Cabins tend to be cheap on the daytime ferries so I'd be tempted to book one if I were you. By the time you've paid £5 a person for reserved seats, you might as well have paid £30 for a cabin. I wouldn't spend the whole time in the cabin but you might welcome having some peace and quiet, somewhere to leave your stuff and somewhere for your toddler to nap if they still need to.

I always get a cabin night or day. It's safe to leave your stuff, TV to watch, tea and coffee making, and a private toilet. You can have a nap if you want to as well. You can still wander around. It's a 5 1/2 hour journey or longer.

Thanks everyone, sorry to take a while to reply. Pretty unanimous there!

Is it worth waiting til the day? Do they discount cabins last minute?
