Any short break holidays for single people to go in a group?

I’m fairly newly separated. The dc’s dad is going to take them away for a week in august and I really need to fill my time so I’m not worrying and missing them too much.
I’m not very good with my own company always, can get quite melancholy and don’t think I’d enjoy yet going to a tourist place by myself. I’m asking around but not sure I’m going to have any single friends to go away with.
I’ve searched old threads and seen there are companies that offer group holidays like exodus but they’re all quite hard core adventure things and a wel plus.
Does anyone know of any short break type things I could do where I could also go with/meet people?
im early 40s and not into cycling or hard core hiking!
id be happy to volunteer as part of it

Solos Holidays do a range of trips some as short as 2/3 days - but I’m not sure what the average age is on them so you might want to ask before you book if you wanted to be with people of your own age group

I don’t think all Exodus holidays are hard core are they? There is also Explore who I travelled with once and it wasn’t remotely hardcore.

No sorry you’re right they’re not but they don’t seem to do short cultural ones, at least for my very specific dates.

there is a solos holidays one to Belfast on dates that would work, obviously more expensive than doing it independently but manageable, now am I brave enough!! That’s the question. Would like to see Belfast and the giants causeway and have never been.

That sounds a great trip. I have done a few holidays on my own but always joined a group tour. I have no desire to wander around a strange country looking at wonderful sites and have no one to share it with! I always make sure that evening meal is included as I think that is when you really get to know people in the group. Go for it!

Belfast is such a great city! And the Giants Causeway is amazing, I found it truly breathtaking.

I think it has some good practical things going for it too, it’s a change but not too far away, you’ll be able to get home easily if you need to because there’s so many flights between Belfast and mainland UK, it’s not too big a city to feel overwhelmed, and it’s not a ‘romantic’ city in the same way as some places.

Hopefully by going with a group you’ll be able to relax a bit too - other people will be in charge of making plans!
