We’re off to Rhodes in early August for a week. Staying in an all inclusive with multiple swimming pools and a beach. I’ve been looking forward to it for a year but as the date approaches I’m starting to worry about the heat. I imagine it’s going to be at least mid 30s which feels very hot to me.
I live in a city which reaches those temperatures quite regularly in the summer these days. I find it stifling and far too hot. Will the heat feel different in Greece because it’s not a city and it’s by the coast? What can I do to make it more bearable? And will day trips away from the resort be illadvised? I had hoped to see the historical sites but dragging a 8 year old around in the heat sounds like hard work.
Any advice would be appreciated.
