Toronto or Niagara

Looking at an Easter trip for 2024 and have found some reasonably priced deals for 10 days in and around Toronto. Have narrowed it down to a hotel by Toronto harbour or one that seems to be right by Niagara Falls. Any suggestions on what would be best? From my research it looks like there will be more to see and do whilst staying in Toronto and better for transport links. Going with DH and kids who will be 10 and 12.

@oldwrinklyhands i know this is your old thread, but you'd be better to cut and paste your problem into a new thread.
Car buying advice might not be forthcoming on a thread about Canada!

We have been a couple of times, it’s a lovely trip I agree with PP, spend most of your trip in Toronto and a couple of nights in Niagara, that will be plenty of time. Have a lovely holiday.

We did both in the summer
Niagara / on the lakes is ok for a couple of days
Toronto - again we were there 4 days - that was more than enough

A word of warning - we had great trouble with Air Canada - delayed / cancelled flights and missing baggage

Now we know that there is a long running Air Canada pilots' dispute, which is affecting flights a lot
