Family rooms, teen activities and adult luxury?

Looking for accommodation for a family of five. Don't all want to be in one room but interconnecting rooms seem so tough to find. Going to two double rooms poss the best option although really does take cost considerably up.

Not quite at villa stage as two youngest like to make friends, play football, go to kid's club and generally be entertained every second of the day.

I'd like on the beach with lots of activities for two teens - paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling - and within walking distance of nice pubs and restaurants.

Also like a bit of luxury on hols! Hit me with your recommendations of fun family holidays that kept everyone happy!

Are there not villas in resorts with all
the activities? We never used them as we were more adventurous but I thought places like the Forte Village in Sardinia had this type of accommodation. Do teens need adjoining rooms? Ours didn’t.

Isabella Valamar in Porec, Croatia.
Have a look online, very good for children of all ages including a teen lounge and very high quality resort. We stayed in one of the bungalows which are tiny but I believe the hotel side has interconnecting rooms.

Neilsons Alanna beach club in Croatia. They have interconnecting rooms and 2 room cabins.

Why do you need interconnecting rooms? I'd get 2 rooms although would you share with young ones?

Forte Village comes to around £15k and that was for May half term. Summer would be more, I expect. Reviews are pretty underwhelming for that kind of money too.

Thanks for replies. We got two rooms last summer and we were put on opposite ends of the hotel, despite having booked directly through hotel and requesting rooms together. When we reminded hotel of this on arrival they said they tried to accommodate but hotel was too busy; the bedroom for three was a bigger size than the room for two so we were quite a distance apart. Not ideal for a family holiday hence the interconnecting rooms idea.

Will have a look at some of above suggestions. Thanks all.

@Stevie77
I know it’s expensive but it caters for all the OP wanted. Personally we would not have gone there. We preferred wildlife holidays and somewhere a bit further.
