Quiet Ibiza for one!

Looking for recommendations for a quiet rural spot with wifi and great walking as I'm heading there solo in April for a bit of r and r and to concentrate on some work stuff. I'm open to remote if there is a restaurant there too or it's easy enough to hire a tiny car/moped to get around. Thanks!

Cala Llonga, small, lovely, lovely cove.

I was going to say this. It's a lovely quiet place with a good beach and shallow bay.

It's not remote, there is a small resort with hotels and restaurants but you can walk from there.

I'm also going to recommend Cala Llonga. It's lovely and quiet, is surrounded in lush greenery, has a gorgeous beach which has a jetty at one side to catch the water taxi and a bus stop at the other side which also has a land train too. We found some lovely walks to do whilst we were there and it's only a short bus ride from Santa Eulalia.

Well it's great to see how popular Cala Llonga is! Most of the village is closed till later in April but SOS restaurant will be open from next weekend if you do decide on the village. We love it there and also hike a lot but honestly most spots at that time of year are quiet and beautiful. The hiking in the north is great (light house walk) as are the costal paths. Runners have a huge choice if that's your thing, the Ibiza marathon is next weekend too!

oh this is great thanks! Any particular places to stay that you recommend too? I'm also looking at Formentera which looks so beautiful and unspoilt. I think I need more than 4 days. And yes running is definitely my thing - more so than walking.

April marks things beginning to open up so the whole island gets it's first influx. The trails round the island are rugged and hilly so do take all normal precautions with letting someone know your route etc. We are in Cala Llonga and there are plenty of apartments available in April (check out Pims website) but in my opinion it's a great time of year to be in the places I wouldn't normally go in the summer because of the crowds. Around Portinax you have some good options and great trails. Equally if you have transport look at some of the inland villages like Sant Carles or Gertrudis. Beautiful villages with small local restaurants open year round with a slow pace of life. Beaches are clear of their usual sunbeds and people, the weather has been great.... despite some snow earlier this year. Formentera can be done as a day trip and hire a bike, it's pretty flat. Check out ibuzaoutdoors.com for some inspiration too. Hope this helps!

Just thought, controversial as it's near San Antonio but take a look at Hostal La Torre. It's open all year as a restaurant but I think rooms are open. It's one of the best places on the island for sunset. Food is pricey but good. However the area is great for trails and exploring. I wouldn't consider it in the summer at all (other than the odd sunset dinner) but in April it's calm, relaxing and incredible views.

Formentera is amazing, Op, with stunning walks and cycle routes.

If you stay near to the ‘capital’ (village really), Sant Francesc Xavier, there will be restaurants open for the locals. https://www.formentera.es/en/explore/villages/sant-francesc/

The village of El Pilar de la Mola is more rural but with good access to the capital and beaches. There are restaurants here.
