Older bedwetter and hotels

Dd is 12 and due to kidney issues (under consultant care) has occasional bedwetting. We are going on holiday to the US. I have bought big disposable bed mats, but when she had an accident it usually gets everything - duvet as well as sheets. What do I do - I can’t ask for a new duvet every night or pay duvet cleaning costs every night. Do I have to go buy a duvet when we arrive and cover it in some kind of protective thing? Help…

Drynites do pj pants for age 8-15. I'd take a couple of packs of those as well as the mats as hopefully the pants will catch most of it.

I have seen sleeping bag liners advertised by eneuresis charities. Maybe see if ERIC have suggestions? Or if DD's consultant has a list of resources?

Or you could sew together two of the (non-disposable) absorbent waterproof sheets, to make a sheet sleeping bag. Obviously used the ones which are suitable to use on the top of the bedsheets, so it's comfortable!

So DD sleeps inside the special sheet sleeping bag, with the duvet on top.

Tena pads? Period knickers?

I would trial period pants, Modibodi does 24hr ones.
