Ryanair baggage baby

Hello.

Has anyone travelled with Ryanair recently? We're due to fly with our baby soon and I can't figure out the rules! Does anyone know if one of "2 items of carry-on baby equipment for free" be a bag? And if so, are there any size/weight restrictions? It says these items "can include" a pushchair/buggy, car seat, booster seat or travel cot but doesn't make it clear if they restrict to only those items! I've tried contacting them and they are no help! We will be taking a stroller but were hoping to take a bag of baby essentials as the second piece of equipment and can't figure out if this would be allowed. Has anyone else done this?

Thanks so much!

The 2 free items get checked into the hold and aren't taken on board.

It does say this online:

Infant Baggage allowance

If you have purchased a separate seat for your baby, they are entitled to carry onboard 1 small cabin bag which must fit under the seat in front of you (40cm x 20cm x 25cm) and have the option to purchase a checked bag.

There is no cabin baggage allowance for infants sitting on an adult’s lap or infants aged 8 days to 23 months who are seated in an extra comfort seat. However a baby bag up to 5kg (dimensions: 45x35x20cms) can be carried by the accompanying adult in addition to their own cabin bag.

The trick is to put your baby essentials (nappies etc) in the buggy carry bag 😊 Or stock up on the essentials once you're at your destination. I haven't flown recently, but it certainly used to be equipment, not just a bag.
