Have never done all inclusive because I don't believe there is anywhere that will cater for fussy people with specific needs unless someone knows different.

We want a really good holiday this summer as last year we went to France and it rained everyday for two weeks was freezing and fussy daughter refused to sleep in her bedroom!!!!

Our needs are quite simple really good pool and beach for daytime.

Accommodation one bedded apartment as in the past we move dd3 bed into our room so we have time together in living area when she is asleep.

On an evening we usually take a stroll into town or village where we are staying and then choose where and what to eat don't think all inclusive can offer that somehow also we don,t like to be tied set eating times and heaven forbid camp site style entertainment.

A complex does appeal because it would give our dd an opportunity to mix with other children. Also not bothered about childcare etc dd eats with us and enjoys it.

Any suggestions in europe for this summer late august?

Hmmmm, well, if you stayed in a all-inc hotel in a far flung place then you probably would not be able to stroll into a local town for restaurants etc. If you went all-inc in a European hotel then I think you could find one that had more on its doorstep.

We stayed at the Chandris hotel in Corfu but we went half board and there were lots of local eateries. The Chandris are a chain and they have other hotels that might tick all your boxes:

You might have to pay extra for a suite to get a seperate room for your DD to sleep in as well.

This hotel in Lanzarote looks nice and is fairly clsoe to civilisation:

It does do entertainment but I have to say the entertainment we have witnessed at AI resorts has been low key.

wlc lass thanks for the info am currently trawling holiday info loking for 4/5 star all inclusive hols to see if I can find somewhere suitable.

I think that this year we just need to have a break where we feel as if we have had a break I no thats a bit difficult with a toddler but dd very good in hotels and would not dream of leaving her a creche so "we could enjoy ourselves!) fgs its a family holiday.

I,m sure after our hols last year excellent accommodation and food will help!

Hi firstmum45

One all inclusive hotel I can recommend is the Oceania Club in Halkidiki. The hotel has various room styles. The deluxe junior suites are excellant as the single bed is in an alcove. The hotel has its own website. www.oceaniaclub.gr If you book through the hotel, they will collect you from airoprt.

Can really recommend Club Med Palmiye in Turkey. They have little bungalows there which would suit. The complex is vast and has several restaurant choices so it actually feels like you're in a village. The standard of everything is excellent and whilst there is entertainment that too varies from low key live background music to more lively stuff in other areas.

It's a truly relaxing place with loads of activities on offer for the more energetic.

Have a look at their web site then contact one of the agents that discount their holidays. Sorry that I can't remember the agents that advertise on here, I've used travel counsellors before.
