Thailand July 2023 - any recommended tour operators?

Hi.
We are hoping to do a 'big' holiday this year. It will have to be July to early August time. 10-14 days type thing. Teens 16 and 13. We don't mind rain. Flying from one of the London airports.

I'm not sure I have the capacity to sort it all out myself so I was hoping to book a tour which includes flights. £2500 pp sort of thing. I've heard Koh Samui is the place to be but I don't necessarily want to stay in one place the whole time. It would be lovely to see Bangkok too although I realise the two are far apart. And elephant sanctuary's have been mentioned as well as snorkelling!

Are there any recommendations for a company that does this (There are loads out there I know - but we haven't ever been further than Europe as a family and I've never booked a package before so I don't know where to start) I was looking at travelbag or maybe theadventurepeople but just not sure.

madmenpeggy July was quite rainy and there were some really heavy downpours in Bangkok which our guide seemed to be able to predict and got us shelter so we didn't get soaked- the rain never seemed to last for long. Rest of the time we were in hotels or out doing things like kayaking so it wasn't really a problem.

@thesugarbumfairy we're looking at a similar trip for this year (same timing and destinations) and would love to hear how your holiday went

@lakeflypie sadly it never happened as H had a stroke at the beginning of July. Its still on the list to do at some point but not in the forseeable.

@thesugarbumfairy I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you get there one day

We did this, loved it and would do it again.

Read up about box jellyfish as they are prevalent around Koh Samui. It put me off swimming in the sea to be honest.
