Is Lalandia kid of like Centre Parcs? Could you stay there and also visit Legoland?

How many days would be recommended?

I live 20 minutes from there. I have never been to centre parks tho so can't really compare. There's lots of stuff on one site if that's what you mean. The aquadome is great, especially if your dc like water slides. The indoor play is good. The restaurants are ok but there is vat on food in Denmark.

Legoland is over the road. It will take you 5 minutes depending on how long you have to wait at the traffic lights to cross. Try to go on a Sunday - regardless of season it's the quietest day.

I'd also recommend Lego House. If you can afford it book the restaurant there. You build your order in Lego, order via a machine at your table, then Minifigures make it in the kitchen and it comes in a box down a conveyor belt.

I would say 4 days to do it all comfortably. It depends how much you want to do at Lalandia.

How old are dc? When are you thinking of coming? Avoid July.

Thanks, was thinking of July actually, first week or so. Are Danish schools closed then?

children are 9 and 12.

We went for 4 days in October half term. One of our best holidays ever. Did lalandia, Lego house was the best and Legoland, plus some lovely exploring vejlie and Aarhus (art museum was amazing). It was so quiet we almost had the Lego house to ourselves.

Yeah Danish schools close at the end of June and go back mid August. There's no august bank holiday in Denmark so that might be worth investigating.

We went to Legoland years ago towards the end of summer. Nearly had the place to ourselves, it was amazing! I also remember that dh and I shared a lunch as it was so expensive!

Or October half term - Legoland is BEAUTIFUL when they decorate for Halloween.

We went at May half term midweek (several years ago). It was empty. Great trip

We’ve been three times OP although the last time was pre Covid. It’s not quite like CenterParcs but there is certainly lots to do. The main Lalandia centre has a pretty good water park, an ice rink, ski slope and various other attractions. The higher end accommodation is nice, skandi style and comfortable if a little basic.

As another poster said Legoland is just across the road and Lego House not far away. I would recommend getting a two day pass for Legoland (although one could be enough depending on the age of your kids and how much you pack in) and allocating a day for Lego House, plus another day-ish for Lalandia. We used go to Legoland and Lego House in the morning and the water park in Lalandia in the evening - it stayed open until 10pm.

All in all it is a really good trip. Lego House is fantastic and Legoland itself is immaculate. Would definitely recommend.

+1 for October half term as well. The danish kids were back in school so it was relatively quiet but the Halloween decorations were amazing and the autumn foliage was stunning. It was dry and cold with that lovely winter light when we were there and was absolutely beautiful.

Thanks everyone! Plenty to think about. October sounds good too.
