We are going soon but my goodness I had no idea that it would be a bit of an endurance as to where to eat, at what time, how the whole experience is now becoming a little stressful which is crazy as its supposed to be a relaxing place not to figure out how they cannot take your eyes out for everything!

So really if anyone can give a little insight!

Just found the huge forum it has on its own on Flyertalk, crazy!

When you check in your butler will inform you of the dining options and you decide where you want to go and the timing and he'll sort it. They are very accommodating and it's not stressful at all.

Hi Appleblum, thanks for your reply, however I have already had whats like a timesheet of the days we are there asking for our preferred restaurants to eat at and at what time as they cannot guarantee a seat!

Also they have introduced charges if you are 15 mins late, so now thinking what if we cannot walk/buggy/boat and get there intime, so having to really plan times to get over to the other island. Just seams to be a bit 'Butlins' for meal times.

Also read that the 'butlers' a lot of the time have no communication with the guests or very limited. Also a post that someone got so fed up of the whole dining experience they brought camping meals to eat!!!!!!

We went for our honeymoon but that was sixteen years ago so I'm sure it's changed a huge amount since then. I remember breakfast being a dream and not needing shoes anywhere apart from to cross the bridge because of the heat. Even when dining in the evening people wore no shoes. It was heaven.

The booking all meals and times and being charged for being 15 minutes late does seem a bit stressful and center parcs ish. I would book all meals at various restaurants at a similar time each night then if it doesn't suit try and change the times when you are out there. The restaurants are bound to have changed but the teppanyaki was my favourite.
