Paris hotel with Pre-teen?

Hello wise mumsnetters - there’s too much bloody choice so hoping to go on personal recs. taking my 11yo DD to Paris for 2 nights in April, need a hotel that’s reasonably central but prioritise a cute and quiet neighbourhood over being able to walk to the Eiffel Tower. Comfortable beds, but looks like a quintessential Parisian boutique hotel (ie not spare walls and modern decor) to fulfil her little Pre-teen dreams - don’t mind tiny lifts or walking up stairs. Budget pref around £350 for the 2 nights.

A very local exceptional coffee shop and bakery a plus!

Following with interest as I may be taking a 15 year old in May! She's so excited and has similar ideas about Paris! Are you flying? I've only ever flown into Beauvais so unsure about best way to get in from CDG.

Id like to follow as well as considering Paris for a long weekend in September. Suspect we'll Airbnb it but need to do my research!

No we’re getting the Eurostar - I’ve been a few times and took both kids when they were 7&10 with 2 of my friends but we air bnb’d so I want to do a hotel for DD and I as she loves them

have stayed in hotels with DH but budget is lower this time

Prices are sky high for April, especially the two weeks straddling Easter weekend, but we had a lovely stay at Au Manoir in the Saint Germain district. It’s really close to Les Deux Maggots and Cafe de Flore which are both famous. Saint Germain is one of the more expensive areas but it’s so quintessentially Parisian. If Au Manoir is too expensive, try Hotel des Nations Saint Germain. The rooms aren’t as nice but it’s very good value for what you get.

We stayed here last June - is exactly what you describe and was wonderful. Close to the metro and the Pantheon. Might be expensive (not sure as my DP booked it) but totally recommended! Love Paris!

I stayed here Le Maquis a few years back with my pre teen. Clean, great location and a good amenities in the local area.

I'd definitely return here.

Bumping this in case anyone else has any good recommendations.

I'm hoping to do the same thing with my pre teen DD.

I'm going to Paris in a few weeks with my 14 year old and we are staying at Hotel Malher in Le Marais. Le Marais is such a lovely area for wandering (lots of cafes etc) and still walkable (or a short hop on the metro) to the main sights. So excited!

I’ve booked Hotel Odessa in Montparnasse, it was considerably cheaper than a lot of places and is quite no frills but seems to generally have excellent reviews and Montparnasse is still nicely
central

Really easy, gare Du nord is in the centre of the city and has a metro
