This Kelloggs free ticket to a zoo/aquarium offer....is it a bit of a swizz?

Or am I being thick?

Here's the details

See, from what I read on the box and the website, I assumed that if one adult pays full price, another gets in free.

I have a feeling it's only a child that gets in free.

Anyone know?

Am I being dim or is this very badly worded/publicised?

I think it's badly written as it does not state whether its an adult or child, although it may tell you more on the box.

I took one to Knowsley Safari Park today and they said they only accept them for kids.

I dunno if everywhere else is the same, will check, but we went today expecting to pay for just one of us and had to pay for 2.

Am debating getting in touch with Kelloggs to get them to clarify it.

the Ts & Cs pertaining to the free ticket offer do not include any limit to buy one get a free child which would have to specified up front

that is not to say you won't get there and the zoo will not try to enforce (albeit illegally), so better to ring up first ... although the promoter is Kellogs so they would be the people you can complain to and not the zoo itself

Hmmm.....just found this:

Is the free ticket for an adult or a child?

The free ticket can be used as either a child ticket or adult ticket providing you are accompanied by an adult purchasing a full priced ticket.

So actually, the safari park swizzed us.

I think this is still going as I saw some cereal boxes with the offer at the weekend but didn't buy any.
Can anyone tell me do you just need to cut something off the box and take with you to the zoo or do you need to send off to Kellogs for some voucher?

bohemianbint - where did you find that?

Planning to use my vouchers on Sunday, so would be helpful if the zoo gets stroppy!

fondant4000 · 07/05/2008 15:45

It's OK I found it here

Cut the voucher off the packet - we used it for an adult ticket at Woburn so only paid £16 for whole family as DD under age limit for tickets.
