Sani 20k and Ikos 12k for a week- REALLY!?

I really want to go to one of these resorts this year. But our budget is about £6k and they're all coming out at double that. £20k for a week in Greece just seems absurd.

We are a family of DH and I, DD (5), DS (2.5), DD (1).

I want something luxe, any time from 6/7 July onwards, a kids club, a gym, little splash pool. I am seeing nothing for less than £10k (wanting to avoid the likes of turkey, Cyprus etc).

We went to Sani this year the week before October half term - lovely weather and the whole thing including flights came in at under £3k. I would agree with other comments though, a lot of the things at Sani are geared towards older children, we spent a lot of time in the toddler pool!

It was nice to be able to go to actual restaurants, and the service was impeccable, but it is absolutely not worth the peak season prices, particularly with younger children.

I really long to go to Sani, but can't justify the prices.

Last year we went here in Greece - it was really lovely, and more affordable by far!

Princess Yaiza hotel in Lanzarote is lovely. Right on the front/beach and very close to the Town and Marina of Playa Blanca. Can get 10 nights there bed and breakfast for £3800. Room is a suite so quite large.

The 5 year old means they are tied to school holidays though?

Its more important the older they get, but at 5, i dont think it matters. They can catch up on their colouring in and sandpit playing later on

Ikos Olivia you can get £6.5k flying from a London airport for 7 days on 8 July. On love holidays. Sani looks lovely but I personally think it would work out crazy expensive as it's not all inclusive.

I love the look of Ikos but agree it’s a lot. We have been to Marbella corfu twice and it is great. Defiantly a luxe feel, pool and slides for the kids too. Mine are 5 & 9 and love it. We usually book the rooms with a shared pool, last year we paid £5,000 in June for 10 nights. Might be a cheaper alternative for you.

We've booked an Ikos resort for next Easter, we're paying around £4K for a week for 2 adults and 2 children in sea view room and separate budget airline flights from uk. We got one free child place with ikos. It was the only time of year that's affordable for us. The gamble will be with the weather in April but fingers crossed!

We were in Ikos Dassia in April last year and weather was perfect . All the pools are heated anyway .
Going again this April .......
