Help! Between Canada and London, where would you go in Feb?

I have been doing my head in trying to find a Feb halfterm holiday that works for everyone... Essentially my parents live in Montreal, Canada and myself and my family (dh, two dd aged 7 and 9yo) live in London. My parents usually come to visit us, but we were hoping to do something a bit different for the Feb halfterm, acknowledging that they've been to London many times so are over the touristy things. It's also never served us in terms of family dynamics, with myself feeling judged and pressured when they come into our space, and it just never feels like a holiday. It's hard! As a bit of background, my dad isn't able to walk long distances, and my mom isn't interested in nature-y holidays, much prefers a shopping mall. My husband hates shopping malls. My kids need all the usual entertainment that kids do and particularly enjoy swimming. I thought I would solve it with a resort in Tenerife or Lanzorate, but I just looked at what the flight would be like from Montreal and my heart sank. I hope someone out there can help with alternate suggestions of Feb halfterm??? Somewhere not too dreary at that time of year, where we can all relax? Am I looking for a complete unicorn that doesn't exist? I would also add that my parents won't feel comfortable driving abroad. While we have a bit of a budget, I also need whatever this is going to be to not cost the earth....

What about Bermuda? With only a week you both want somewhere you can fly direct, but that would be a warm and relaxing week for everyone.

The Caribbean is probably your answer. Easy to get to eg Cuba from Montreal and not difficult for the UK. Or stick with North America and go to Florida or Mexico.

I agree either Florida or somewhere in the Caribbean would most likely fit the bill.

Just be careful about Cuba though if you plan to visit the US at a later date, as you may no longer be eligible for the US visa waiver programme.

Mexico?

What about Morocco? Royal Air Maroc have direct flights from both London and Montreal to Casablanca so travelling not too dire for either group of you. Warmer weather. Somewhere a bit different. Not too pricey.

Costa Rica? Not for shopping malls but great for kids, lots of wildlife, rainforests, beaches, resorts will have pools etc, sea, ziplines.

I'd hold out for https://www.clublasanta.co.uk for the mild weather and amazing range of activities. Having so many different activities you can do together and retreat to separate apartment.

All good.
