With girl friends. In December! Staying near the Marais area.

Thanks.

Watch a Moulin Rouge show
Get hot chocolate from Angelina.
Browse round the Christmas markets. The one in Tuileries Garden next to the Louvre is huge and truly magical. You can then see the Christmas lights along Champs-Élysées (exit Tuileries Garden near Place de la Concorde, and walk over to see them). The Notre-Dame Christmas Market at Square Viviani is another good one and I think the prettiest market is at Hotel de Ville. Visit after dark when there are regular light shows and fake flurries of snow.
Some of the big department stores have spectacular displays for Christmas. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Haussmann are the best.

Visit Saint Chapelle, a medieval wonder. Absolutely beautiful.

We went a few years ago and they had an ice rink in front of the Hotel de Ville. We liked the Musee D'Orsay, and we watched Amelie before we went and visited a few of the places featured in there.

Musee D'Orsay. A wander round the lovely shops in the Marais. I love the Rodin museum. Bateau Bus up and down the river. It used to be you could book the restaurant on 1st floor of Eiffel Tower and skip the queue, but when I was there in June, the whole area is fenced off now so not sure if that still works. Sunday morning walking round Montmartre.

Depends what you're into but the Rex Cinema do an amazing behind the scenes tour, a little off the beaten track and not crowded.

Absolutely do visit the observation deck at Tour Montparnasse - far superior views than the Eiffel Tower imo and much cheaper with shorter queues. Go before sunset and watch the city light up in front of you and see the spectacular Eiffel Tower light show!

Prob too late, but don’t miss the friperie and vintage stores in Le Marais. Specifically Come on Eileen which is full of treasures. Also visit Victor Hugo house in Place de Vosges; free and full of lovely art.

Le Petit Palais on the Champs Elysees is a stunning, free art museum with a lovely, reasonable cafe and decent loos. An excellent pit stop in a pricey area.

Book a tour of the Palais Garnier - the Opera house. The most beautiful place I’ve visited.
