Starting to look into taking the leap and booking lapland next year.

But googling has provided so many options I'm unsure of what is a good choice.

Has anyone been? What provider did you sue? And if you don't mind how much did you pay?

We went last year with a 7 and 5 year old with Canterbury Travels.

I would highly recommend them, we had the most amazing time, the children talk about it all the time.

We paid about £4500.

We're going this year with Santa's Lapland - couldn't fault them, even the booking / confirmation service has been magical!

Thank you both! I will search tonight.
We will have a 9, 7 and 4 year old so hoping it's good for all of them.

I did a diy trip one December a few years back. Cost £850 for 3 of us for 4 nights (2 of which on overnight train). Excluding expenses.

You can fly to Helsinki and then get the sleeper train - it’s an amazing experience in itself. We just headed straight to Santa Village (stayed in Rovaniemi) but the train stops in Kemi and other places that offer skiing. Levi is supposed to be good for that. We also stayed in Helsinki which was lovely.

We went with Tui and it was amazing, def do the trip! I think we were about £700 each, can’t really remember exactly now. Everything was organised great and the reps were fantastic. Amazing from start to finish and so many fond memories.

We went with Canterbury Travel We stayed in Luosto and it was fantastic. I can't remember what we paid, it was a long time ago. I highly recommend it though. We stayed for 3 or 4 nights.

Thank you all so much! I was looking into DIY but had no idea where to start.
I've seen some that have hotels where you can see the Northan Lights. If we're going two birds one stone makes sense.

TUI to Levi. Decided to go to Levi for the skiing and because its a bit quieter. We loved it, would go back in a heartbeat.

4 nights and paid around 4k ish (can't remember). Be prepared to pay for extra experiences when you are there though to really make the most of it.

I would love to go back again and DIY it now that I’ve done the whole Santa experience. I really fancy one of those glass dome type things that you can watch the stars/northern lights. Or a night in the ice hotel.

That's what I'm looking at! If we're going anyway then it seems a waste to pass up such an unbelievable experience. And with the savings breakdown plan I'm making the increase isn't massive.
