When should I book EasyJet flights please?

I’m not a big traveller and have only really booked packages before. I was hoping someone up on these things could advise me. My daughter is in Spain for the year and I was intending to book EasyJet flights to visit her at Easter. I’ve looked at suitable dates and there seems to be lots of availability. Do I book these now? Do prices only get worse or do I keep an eye and hold on? Thank you very much.

Yes normally they increase in price as the weeks go on ( but only a few pounds at a time). However they tend to have a sale late Jan / early Feb if I remember rightly and there are discounts then. I’ve always been able t

Best days to fly in and out are Tuesdays and Weds price wise. Don’t make the mistake of booking the earliest flight because it’s a fiver cheaper because it will cost more in terms of stress the night before and the airports are really busy first thing. Likewise the last flights out usually run late because they have the days delays stacked up.

If you get flights between £30 -£50 that’s a good enough price. Are they more than that currently? Also sometimes it pays off to do Easyjet one way and BA or whoever for the other l

Cost varies depending on demand. If your flight coincides with the Easter holidays, it might only go up in price, but if you can go at a slightly different time, it may go up and down.

We rarely book more than 2-3 months in advance and have booked in under a week in advance, if you're going out of season and don't need accommodation, you can just look for the cheapest flight.

Also look on skyscanner to see if another airline does a suitable route for less. Last time we flew, we went on Ryanair and it was under half what EJ and Jet2 wanted.

But also make sure you understand the baggage rules. With EJ (and Ryanair) you only get a small rucksack/large handbag with the base price, if you want even a cabin trolley case, you have to pay extra.

If your dates fall during the Easter holidays, I would think they will only go up in price
from now.

if you’re happy with the price they are now, then I would book them.

Thank you all so much for all the advice.
Flights are over £100 each, each way currently but I expected that as it’s Easter and it is into a pretty major tourist airport.

I will check other airlines. I think Jet 2 may be the only other one.

I’m tied to the dates as my son is going too so needs to be in his school hols and in the hols of the Dd we are visiting.

I might have been tempted to hold off but as we are tied to one particular week I might just have to go for it.

Thank you.
