Greek dual/triple island holidays

I’m looking for recommendations for dual/triple Greek island holidays.

We’ve previous flown to Mykonos and then done a triple island stay featuring Syros and Tinos.

Next year, we’d like to do something similar but I’m so overwhelmed by the huge choice of islands.

I’ve considered flying to Santorini and then moving onto Milos and Folegandros.

I don’t mind flying to one island and then back to the UK from another.

Each ferry route will ideally be no longer than 4 hours.

Would love to hear about your fabulous recommendations for Greece.

We did a Skopelos/Alonissos combination this year. Flew into Skiathos, ferry to Skopelos was about 1.5 hours then only half an hour to Alonissos. Loved Alonissos the old town was beautiful.

We flew in and out of Santorini (stayed two nights there at each end of the trip) and went to Paros for a few days and then Naxos. It was lovely.

Folegandros looks AMAZING.

If you're on Instagram check out stef_greece - he has photos and guides for all the islands and Folegandros is included.

This summer we flew to Rhodes and then onto Symi - it was completely beautiful.

@CharlotteSt how long was each ferry journey?

@flippyfloppy who did you fly with, and was it from the UK?

thanks, @weekendninja have now followed on Insta

@weekendninja Foes Symi have a large number of refugees waiting to move to mainland Europe or have I got the wrong island?

When in the year would you be going? Pre-covid, we went to Crete. From memory we went late sept and whilst there, thought we'd get the ferry to Santorini for the day. It happened to be the week that the ferry stopped being so frequent and either stopped altogether or was only once a week.

Sorry that I can't actually recommend a trip, but do check beforehand when in the year the ferrys schedule changes or will stop altogether!

We’ll be travelling for three weeks end of July through to mid-August.

@MarmiteCoriander we did get caught out with ferries going to Tinos - even in July! - so always ensure Im back on the island for our return flight at least a day before. Although that wouldn’t help us in a storm or if strikes were announced.

@countdowntonap I know that there has been refugees a few years but I didn't see any holding areas/refugees when we were there.

Another gem is Nysiros - an hours ferry from Kos. I don't recommend Kos.

We flew with TUI from Newcastle. Landed skiathos 1pm ish, headed to port for lunch and caught ferry about 4pm, which took about 1.5 hours to Skopelos. Stayed 7 nights then travelled Skopelos to Alonissis which was only about 30 minutes.

Two hours to/from Santorini/Naxos. Paros is another half hour or so. This was on Blue Star Delos.
