Eurocamp

Looking at a family holiday for next summer - 6 of us (2 x adults & 4 x children toddler to teens). A Eurocamp seems to tick a lot of boxes in terms of what it can offer for everyone. However it's a bit of a minefield as to where to choose!

I'm open to most locations although saying that would prefer somewhere not a huge distance from an airport. Would also like a beach fairly close by.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that they've stayed previously? Anything I should keep in mind before booking? Any do's or don'ts?

Thank you.

Eurocamp is the big name but often multiple companies run mobile homes (or sometimes chalets or lodges) on the same site. So once you've found your campsite, see if another holiday operator has similar accommodation there at a lower price e.g. Canvas, Yelloh Village, Siblu and Al Fresco.
Pillows and duvets are usually provided as standard, though you need to hire or take your own linen and towels. (They can be included with some premium accommodation, depending on the company.) When we checked for a Eurocamp site in August, linen and towels for a family of four came to £57 for one week. Adding four beach towels cost an extra £25 – that’s £82 in total. If you're driving, taking your own is preferable.
If you've got school-age kids, it's worth waiting to go away in the last two weeks of summer if you can. We’ve found that prices drop rapidly for stays at the end of August.
In the past, Eurocamp and Canvas have offered discounts if you book ferries and accommodation together. It’s also well worth checking out Brittany Ferries, as it offers deals with companies including Yelloh, Siblu and Les Castels.

For near an airport - the parks on the venetian Riviera are easily accessible. Union Lido is fab also Porto Felice. As PP said, look at the site websites too and compare prices and accommodation. La Carabasse (Siblu) is near Beziers airport and has everything in easy walking distance. Beach, fun fair, minigolf, shops and restaurants.
