Hotel with decent kids club

Hi there,

I'm a single mum with a 7 year old and would like to go on holiday next year. I'm looking for somewhere with a really good kids club so I can get a bit of down time!

I've been to Puerto pollensa in Majorca and love it there. But would like to try something different maybe. I would ideally like somewhere with a nice beach and close to a pretty town.

Thank you 😊

What’s your budget OP? And do you want the kids club to have exciting activities (watersports etc) or is it more about having plenty of kids her age?

Oh I'm interested in this too. I'm hoping to get away next June with DS8.

I think for a week it would be up to £1.400 (total) half board ideally. We will go in June so should be as expensive as August time.

I'm looking for a club where she can do actives as well as socialise with other children. It doesn't have to be water sports or anything too crazy. I just find some kids clubs are very poor and the kids are bored. I would rather she stay with me than subject her to a bad kids club!

When you say June do you mean half term or in term time? As realistically there aren’t going to be many school age kids in kids club if it’s term time. The activities would therefore be more aimed at little ones.

I'd look at going in the school holidays or out, it's depending on the price really. I've never taken my daughter out of school, but if it's too expensive to go away during holidays I'll have no choice but to take her out.

We did Eurocamp this year and our dc asked to do kids club again. Every day they came back exhausted, splattered in sand/paint/glitter and happy as anything. Friendly staff able to deal with my DS’s medication, and spoke excellent English.

Royal Son Bou is wonderful but I’m not sure about whether it’s in your budget.

Thanks I'll take a look

Completely understand price wise, but realistically in term time there won’t be school age kids in the kids clubs. So if you do end up looking at term time I would say don’t make kids club a priority, as she won’t be excited to be with a bunch of 3/4 year olds.
