Where to go in January?

For logistical reasons can only go last week in January, for a week or 10 days
Looking for heat
Really nice food
Beach
Two adults
Like to be able to leave resort and explore a bit, happy to hire a car.
Not Mexico , bit dodgy at moment if not staying in resort.
Have done DR, Barbados, Jamaica,st Lucia , Seychelles,Tobago , Grenada ( prefer Tobago and Grenada),Thailand
Not Dubai
Please help, really need a holiday

Please just bob along if you want to moan about long haul flying, not interested and not justifying it

Not booked yet, just costed out and done logistic planning ( made a Pinterest board !)
Will book flights then do the hotels
Have always booked this sort of trip for family holidays, usually works really well.
Had one epic fail when planned a trip along the Turkish coast. One part involved staying in port hotel then travelling along coast on gulet boat for three nights then driving to next hotel along coast. Was very careful to email first hotel and check was ok to leave car there etc.
Was only when we arrived that I suddenly realised we would be getting off boat over a 100 km further along coast and car would have been left behind 🤣
Poor Dh had to heroically hitchhike and bus back to collect car while I took kids to hotel in taxi 🤣

Have been extra careful since !
