Port Zeland centre park swimming certificate

We are going to a Centre Park in the Netherland, Port Zeland, and it says children need a swimming certificate to take part in the aqua park. Has anyone been there and do you know if a/ this is really a requirement and b/ if it is how we get one?! The children can both swim a km, but don't have any certification to say this. Should we get a local lifeguard to sign something?

We went to a lot of the dutch center parcs from when dd was 3 and never had to produce a swimming cert.

We have been to kempervennen centerparcs and dd was asked to wear a life jacket type thing unless she could swim a certain distance but we didn't have to prove it. Could be that?

It’s for the inflatable thing in the sea that you need to certificate, not for the pool and slides.

In the Netherlands children have to get their A certificate to be allowed to swim without armbands. They have to be able to swim 50m amongst other things. I think it is a standard they refer to rather than expecting to see a paper certificate. If they ask you can presumably confirm they have passed that standard and they can demonstrate their swimming ability if needed.

Aqua park is this:

The general pool and slides dome is called the Aqua Mundo. You can just grab life vests for that if you want.

Yes, it was the thing in the lake with the inflatables I meant. Thanks for all your input, it sounds like maybe we can just tell them they can swim, or show them.

If you email them, they are really helpful. I’d just ask.
We were there in July but never got round to doing the aqua park thing.
