Disneyland Paris Food for DS? Advice please :)

Hello,

We're going to Disneyland Paris via Eurostar in Sept and I have a few questions if anyone can help please...

DS will be nearly 2. I had planned to take some snacks and cordial in our suitcase for him. I've heard they're a bit more strict on taking food and drink in but always thought some snacks and drinks would be fine - just not taking in a full lunch, that sort of thing?

Also can anyone recommend what sort of snacks you took? I know France have rules around things containing milk and milk products. I was thinking more along the lines of crisps, fruit bakes, Wafers and crackers etc. Just things to keep him going if he's hungry between meals.

And finally, is there a shop on site still too like a supermarket, or do they sell snacky type foods in the baby centres?

Any other tips you might have on this too would be greatly appreciated!

Last time I went was 2014 and took no note of anything related to this as it was way before we even thought about children, and a lot of the threads on here for this are from 2018/2019 so a while back. Anyone been lately and able to advise please? Thanks in advance!

It’s an urban myth that you’re not allowed to take your own food and drink into the park. It probably comes from the request that families don’t take giant picnic hampers and cool boxes. We’ve taken regular sized lunch boxes with sandwiches, pasta salad etc…. and never had any problem. When we stay at a DLP hotel, people usually take a few bits from breakfast to put in their day bag.
Across the road from Santa Fe there is a garage with a shop selling snacks and drinks. Also in Marne-la-Vallee station there are a couple of little shops. There is a big shopping centre just 5 minutes away - it's one stop on the RER. Downstairs there is a big Auchan supermarket.
There are also plenty of shops selling snacks inside the park.
You can’t take meat or milk from the UK, but all the snacks you mention should be fine. We take mini packets of raisins, easy peelers, cereal bars, rice cakes… basically anything that won’t melt and isn’t too bulky or heavy.
