Hello,

We are contemplating Euro Disney. Any advice from.thoss who have booked. Prob 4 ish nights or even 3. Early teens and two adults. Maybe too expensive, trying to price up options as def school holidays. Not summer holidays. Poss too late for Oct half term?

Thanks for any sage words and recommendations!

I have booked in may a two night, three day package on their website. Two mums, two 8-year old boys (going with a friend).
It is for februrary, Golden Forrrest Room in Seqioia Lodge. It is a little bit more expensive then the regular room but with breakfast and afternoon tea it actually came cheaper. I paid 1.150 euros at that time. I was comparing it with outside hotels, but just tickets for us 4 for three days would come €1,038.00. so staying in the park is a good deal if you plan to stay more.
If you have any questions, just ask.

We are going in a couple of weeks - a couple of tips:

if you’ve decided to go don’t delay booking - I watched the prices go up massively while we dithered!
We are going for 3 nights at the hotel New York - it’s expensive but even for cheaper hotels it was cheaper to stay on site as tickets etc were discounted
We are driving, using Tesco vouchers for the tunnel and stopping over in a hotel 20 mins away £for £60 so we don’t lose the first day travelling.
We are then going onto somewhere else in France but otherwise would book another cheap hotel near ish Calais on the way home so we get 4 full days at the parks.
food is going to be really expensive so we’re taking crisps/snacks with us
October half term would be fine, it’s just the weather but as long as it’s dry it’ll be fine!
I worked out the meal plan wasn’t worth it, I may regret that decision but with a fussy child and having to stick to set menus we decided against it

We stayed in a air bnb €6 Uber ride away.

Saved ourselves over £1000 doing that. It was a lovely place too.

We stayed at the Hotel l'Elysee Val d'Europe. It’s one train stop from DLP, easy to get to via train or taxi or hotel shuttle.
We had booked in Covid restriction times so there were no fireworks, parades or character breakfasts to miss.
The advantage for us was quieter evenings around Val d’Europe and extensive choice of eateries plus shopping (at the Val d’Europe mall). The pizzeria around the corner from the hotel was particularly good.
Enjoy your trip!

If money is a problem, here is an alternative ... You can go in April when the weather is a little bit better.

We're staying at the Centre Parcs adjacent to the park which is Villages Nature. We've done it before and it was great. Best if you have a car but manageable without.

As they get older maybe look at Duinrell in Holland - loads of camping/caravan/chalet accommodation and a slightly more grown up experience for older kids.

Hope you have a great time!

Book early. We found it a similar price to stay on site as off once you factor in park tickets and transport. It hasn't been called Euro Disney since 1994, search for Disneyland Paris as you may be missing things when searching. Read the DLP forum on trip advisor for current tips as it changes frequently.

Book everything separately. By not booking a package you can book transport as soon as your dates become available. Look on all the Disneyland Paris booking sites as some countries offer different offers. I always book direct with Disney but have used the German site in the past as they have had free dining or free night offers running when the uk site hasn't. I just use google translate to do that. If you want to stay onsite but the teens don't want to share a bed I would book Cheyenne as most of the rooms have a double bed and a single with a pull out bed underneath.

Christmas is truly magical if you fancy December! Cold though! Villages Natures is the nearby Centre Parcs which could be good for teens with the swimming and other activities available, plus ability to have more space in an apartment, rather than 2 beds in one hotel room. We love it there, fly into CDG and book a private taxi transfer, although there is a shuttle which you can book.
