VeriFLY not accepting Scottish Covid QR?

I’ve been trying to upload my details to VeriFLY. But it keeps saying my NHS Covid QR code is not from an authorised provider!
Anyone else had this?
I know I don’t need to use VeriFLY but now I’m that worried that I’ll turn up at the airport and not be allowed on! USA flight.

Are you using the pdf version of the covid cert? The one you download in letter format from the Scottish NHS website…I think it may need to be that one as opposed to from the app.

We recently did VeriFLY. Downloaded our NHS letters, and scanned the QR code. Only the QR on the third page (presumably the booster jab one?) worked. If you’re using the QR on the first page, it doesn’t work!

My mom couldn't get verifly to work. She flew without it and said no one checked

Verifly is a checklist and is nothing more than that. As long as you have all the correct documentation to present to the airline staff at the check in desk you will be able to board.

Thanks all, I got mine manually verified, but my DDs QR code worked.
My concern was the error message said my Covid QR (paper copy) wasn’t by an “authorised provider” which was a concern as it’s NHS Scotland!
The manual verification took a couple of hours but now all good.

Just to add, yes it was my DDs 3rd code ie her booster, that the QR code scanned. Which is daft as USA don’t require the booster, just the first 2, but only the 3rd jab QR code worked.

Recently visited the UK and returned home to the US on BA. Didn’t use Verifly. We were able to fly. There was a bit of tutting and sighing by the BA staff about making their job harder but we couldn’t get Verifly to accept that even though I was born in the UK I don’t need a visa or ESTA to enter the US. I was even using my US passport. It kept asking for my return date to the UK but there isn’t one. I live in the US. So we gave up.

last time i flew BA to the usa verifly took my scottish covid qr code no problem, i screenshotted from the app and uploaded that

I've flown multiple times to the US since covid and have never used Verifly - it is just an optional tool. You just need to be able to show proof of vaccination at check in.

May depend on the airline, but BA won’t let you do online check-in without passing the VeriFLY check if it’s required by your destination. Far quicker to check-in online and just do the bag drop at the airport instead of having to checking-in at the airport too.
