That really. Can you take your own paddleboard to Center Parcs? Whinfell Forest specifically. Google doesn't really give an answer.

I don’t think you can do anything on the lake that isn’t a booked activity.

HiyaWishy · 10/07/2022 22:13

I thought that might be the case!

We haven't been for several years but you used to be able to take your own boards and kayaks but pay a fee.
We had to arrange it by calling customer services and booking in advance. Things may have changed so call customer services and ask them.

I wanted to do exactly this last year but it’s not allowed 😟

HiyaWishy · 11/07/2022 04:56

Thanks. That isn't surprising, seemingly every little thing has an additional cost so doing anything for 'free' would be discouraged.

Not surprisingly really, imagine if every one rocks up with a SUP or kayak.

It’s not a particularly large lake. I suspect if you have your own SUP, you’d be disappointed by doing it there. Definitely take your own bikes though!

Pretty sure if they didn't charge for kayaks & SUPs they'd still make a killing from the cost of everything else.
Or did you mean from policing space on the water perspective?

From the space and safety perspective.
