I love PP but have been there a few times and its prices are creeping up. Is there anywhere with a similar feel that people would recommend?

I think PP for Germans must be Paguera.

Pedestrianised walk of shops and restaurants serving a mix of German and Spanish food, including a great beach bar that will do real paella and fideu for one (DP won't eat it). Three lovely beaches with good snorkeling, really nice relaxed atmosphere.

The town Andratx is a few miles inland, so an easy drive or theres probably a bus. We found this area due to reading some books by a Scottish farmer who moved to that area and documented his experiences.

There's also Port Andratx but we found that very 'Yacht club' and the restaurants are probably even more expensive than PP. Not much of a beach either.

But on the very edge of Paguera there is Cala Fornells which is a lovely little cove beach but there wasn't much else there when we went, just a hotel selling not great food, we had a pizza as we were starving but it was like a cheap frozen one pre-made, so very disappointing.

Paguera not be quite as 'refined' but I didn't really like PP when we went for a day trip anyway, the beach seemed a bit dull. Cala D'Or has several lovely beaches that just beautiful and good for snorkeling and rock jumping.

Ooh I loved PP but haven't been for ages. Sitges has a lovely vibe - bustling and plenty going on but possibly too busy depending on when you want to go. The nightlife can be a bit loud if you stay right in the town centre, but there are some lovely options that are an easy walk into town. Down the coast from there is Castelldefels and Gava Mar which are quieter, but Gava Mar in particular has a lot of pine trees close to the seafront.

Off to google Santa Eulalia now ❤️❤️

It depends on how much the heat bothers you. I always recommend the coast of Granada o Malaga: Motril, Nerja. Granada city is a must-see.

My choices would be Marbella (the proper town not Puerto banus , paguera (we've just got back- extremely German but I like it and a great choice of affordable accommodation- lovely beach, Santa Eulalia, Nerja, llafranc (costa brava- very lovely) coulioure (south of France) Denia, Peniscola (Valencia area) Aghios Nicholaos (Crete) playa Blanca (lanzarote) split and Hvar (Croatia)

I also really like Cala d'or but it's very much a resort , a nice one though

Es Castell in Menorca is very nice, lots of Spanish people eating out at the harbour (Cala Fonts) on a weekend which is a good sign! Just 10 minutes (if that) up the road from Mahon as well.
