Calling Dulwich mums - baby friendly cafe/bistro?

I don't know Dulwich at all, but it's in between me and a pal over the other side of London, and we figured it might be a good place to meet up with our bubs.

Can anyone recommend a baby-friendly cafe or bistro? Preferably one that can supply a high chair, and that we can park near to for a few hours.

Thanks in advance!

The cafe in Dulwich park is extremely baby-friendly. They have cushions on the floor and everything. And plenty of high chairs.

Don't go to the cafe in Dulwich park, go to my friend's cafe in Peckham Rye park - it's MUCH nicer and very baby friendly. The food is locally sourced, organic, lots of veggie options and lots of lovely cakes, etc.
The park is good for a walk with the babies in their buggy or whatever - there's the common as well as the "park" itself, there's a pond with ducks in it and the car park - never full, unlike the Dulwich park one, is never full.
Oh, and the staff in the cafe on the rye are much more friendly, and actually let you take your buggy in, rather than having to leave it outside!

Oooh, both sound like just the ticket! Thanks for that.

The Bishop is a very baby friendly pub in Dulwich that does nice food if that would be up your street. I went in there last Sunday and we were the only table without a baby or toddler in tow!

Ooh, didn't know about the cafe in Peckham Rye park! Will pay it a visit at the weekend. Whereabouts is it?

In East Duswich there are two more options All Fired Up which is a pottery cafe where you can have really nice coffee and cake and use your creative side.

The other option is the Blue Mountain Cafe which is really yummy. There are some nice little boutiques on that street as well.

Agree all of these, think Blue Mountain is on North Cross Road and there are more, Black Cherry on Lordship Lane OK but not that big-pram-friendly, also lovely one on Pellatt Road whose name escapes me.

Likewise haven't been to Rye Cafe but will give it a shot - good publicity for your friend, whirly - do we get a discount if we namecheck you?

I find Dulwich Park cafe can get really busy and have massive queues so would maybe try the Rye one first?

Wouldn't recommend Le Piaf in the Village, rip off and food dire as is the food in the Crown and Greyhound (pub in the Village). Food in the Rosendale (West Dulwich) is LOVELY as is Palmerston (Lordship Lane, East Dulwich) but both quite expensive.
