Paris & Disney

We'd like to go to euro Disney, but tag a couple of extra days on to have a look around Paris while we're there.

Has anyone done this & could recommend how to book it? We've looked at Disney hotels but it seems a waste to stay extra nights there & not use the park tickets.

Are there any decent family hotels in easy reach of both (& don't cost a fortune)?

Thanks!

We did this and stayed for 7 nights at the village Nature centerparcs nearby. Prices are so much cheaper than the UK, we paid Aprox £2000 for a lodge for the week thay slept 12 and obviously smaller accommodation would be much cheaper. It was a 10 min car or bus drive to Disney where you can also get the train into Paris. The site also has loads of activities including the most amazing swimming pool I've ever been to!

That sounds great! Is it easy to get transport/bus etc to Disney? Want to avoid driving if possible.

We arrived in Paris, stayed in an Ibis in the 17th for 3 nights, then moved to out Disney hotel. We booked flights, Ibis and Disney all separately.

Thanks - is it easy to navigate around Paris with children? Especially with only school level French from 20+ years ago?!

We’ve done this twice doing 4 night stays with 2.5 days DLP and a day in Paris. That was enough for the ages the kids were at the time. First time was at a caravan park about 25 minutes from DLP. Second time was Adagio aparthotel with free bus to DLP a few minutes away. Disney hotels no good for us as we don’t like being in one room. We did both trips within 12 months so got annual passes. Was easy to get into Paris the RER railway. Lack of French was not a problem.
